چکیده
An Aramaic-inscribed object made of copper-alloy was discovered in 1993 the south-western part Tulûl Mas‘ud (Moshav Elyakhin) and has recently been studied using an archaeometallurgical approach. Based on visual testing multifocal light microscopy observation, probably produced a nearby workshop, with inscription engraved sharp tool during production process. Given larger assemblage inscribed artefacts from site, this item appears not only to have used as cultic object, but also most for purpose offerings. The XRF analysis results after it sanded revealed core metal relatively pure copper tin content less than 1.0 wt. % Sn. choice produce low-tin indicates that alloy chosen based technological considerations, order facilitate plasticity fashioning into its cylindrical shape. manufacturing process involved bending while hot shaping final form by means several cycles forging annealing. Although current research bulk composition general microstructure could be observed because destructive permitted. single analysed, study allows gain further information metallurgical knowledge processes objects Persian period Levant.

The Metallurgical Database of Aladin - an Alloy Design System
Aladin is an expert system that aids metallurgists in the design of new aluminum alloys. Declarative structured representations in the form of schemata are used for metallurgical data and concepts. The representation is very general, the goal has been to create a representation for all knowledge about aluminum alloys and metallurgy relevant to the design process. This article gives an overview ...

anode slimes are a by-product of the electrolytic copper refining process, which contain the precious and other important metals .in order to find a suitable method for treating these materials it is necessary to know their phase composition. for the separation of various phases from the complexmixture of copper anode. slime, the slime is leached in various steps and the residues of each step a...
متن کاملInitial Stages of Oxidation of Copper and Copper-iron Alloy
The initial oxidation stages of copper and copper-iron alloys have been studied by the AtomProbe Field Ion Microscope (AP-FIM). The depth profiles of copper oxide formed in-situ were successfully determined. The composition of the oxide was close to the value of Cu20, but a large concentration fluctuation was found. The interface between the oxide and the metal was found to be diffuse, the widt...
متن کاملMetallurgical and mechanical properties of laser cladded AlFeCuCrCoNi-WC10 high entropy alloy coating
In spite of excellent corrosion resistance, good ductility and low cost of AISI 316 austenitic stainless steel, the low hardness and poor mechanical charecteristic of material restricts its applicability in several industrial services. To improve upon mechanical properties AlFeCuCrCoNi-WC10 high-entropy alloy coatings were deposited via laser cladding on austentic stainless steel AISI 316 subst...
متن کاملEffect of Slow Cooling in Reducing Pore Size in a Sintered Powder Metallurgical 6061Aluminium Alloy
The usage of powder metallurgy aluminium compacts in lieu of ferrous components in automotives helps to lower vehicle weight. The major drawback in the commercially available press sintered aluminium alloy is porosity which is mainly dependent on the powder metallurgical process parameters such as compaction pressure, sintering temperature and cooling rate after sintering. In this paper the eff...
